The Concrete Strength window ( Job Settings )

To add a strength , type the number to a blank line. You can type over an old number to change that number. Deleting a number removes the strength. If you leave a blank line between two filled lines, the lower filled line moves up into the blank line after you press "OK."

If the primary dimension " Units " are set to ' Metric ' for your current Fabricator, then you must enter concrete strength values in MegaPascals (MPa).

  • The Concrete Setup window, by default, contains a list of fourteen PSI strengths or MPA strengths. These strengths populate the " Strength " list box, which can be found on various concrete member edit windows.
  • Line 1 sets the Modeling default: The strength entered to line 1 on this window is assigned, by default, to the first concrete member of a particular type that is added after starting up Modeling . If, on the concrete member's edit window, you enter a different strength, each subsequently added concrete member of that type is assigned that different strength until you change the strength again or restart Modeling .
